FEES: Free library card for Shelby County residents; nominal fee for some programs. Nonresident borrowers may obtain a library card for the fee of $25. Reciprocal library cards (free) are issued to residents of the following Kentucky counties when a library card is presented from the hometown library of the patron: Anderson, Bullitt, Carroll, Franklin, Grayson, Hardin, Henry, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Owen, Spencer, Trimble and Washington.
